I’ve been a fan of Grand Daddy Purple for years and this is without a doubt one of the best batches I’ve had the pleasure of smoking. The nugs were absolutely spectacular â deep purple and forest green, orange pistils curling all around them, and a trichome coverage so thick it almost looked like snow. I genuinely sat there for a minute just admiring them before I broke any up. The smell is that classic GDP â sweet grape, ripe blueberry, a bit of earthy pine running underneath. Got some on a Thursday and had a proper session Thursday night. The high came on gradually, first a warm fuzzy feeling behind the eyes, then it just sort of descended through my whole body. My shoulders dropped, my back stopped aching, and I sat there in this lovely warm blissful state for hours. My Mrs came in and asked if I was alright because I was just smiling at the ceiling. Slept from about 10pm till 7.30 the next morning. Absolutely brilliant.

This is hands down the best GDP I have ever smoked. I know that’s a big statement but I mean it. I’ve been through quite a few batches from different places over the years and this one is just on a completely different level. The buds were absolutely incredible to look at â vivid dark purple almost verging on black in places, with trichomes so thick and white they looked like a heavy frost had settled on them. Orange pistils curling all over. Just genuinely beautiful cannabis. The smell when I opened the bag was extraordinary. Deeply sweet grape and blueberry, rich and fruity, with this earthy pine musk underneath that just anchors it and makes it smell like proper weed rather than something artificial. I broke up a bud carefully and the whole room filled with that smell. The high was in a class of its own. Within fifteen minutes of smoking I felt this warm comfortable happiness settle over me. No anxiety, no edge, just pure pleasant calm. Then over the next thirty minutes or so the body relaxation kicked in properly and by the time it had fully come on I was completely melted into my sofa in the most wonderful way. I have rheumatoid arthritis and the pain relief this gave me was genuinely significant â I had maybe a couple of hours where the pain was reduced to almost nothing which doesn’t happen often. Slept brilliantly. Woke up feeling refreshed. This is exceptional cannabis and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Good solid indica, does everything it promises. Nice purple buds, lovely smell, good relaxing high. I use it mainly for helping with stress and it works a treat. Delivery was pretty quick, came in a couple of days. No major complaints, just a solid reliable strain that I’ll keep coming back to.

This is genuinely some of the best GDP I’ve ever smoked. The buds were spectacular â huge, purple, dense, trichomes absolutely everywhere. Opening the bag was like stepping into a fruit shop crossed with a pine forest. The high started with a gentle head buzz then rolled into one of the deepest body stones I’ve had in ages. Took away all my stress and tension from the week. Slept brilliantly. Ordered again before the first lot was even finished. That says it all.

Honestly this GDP is ridiculous. In the best possible way. The buds were some of the most visually impressive I’ve ever seen â insanely purple, dense as rocks, trichomes absolutely everywhere, and a smell so rich and fruity it almost didn’t seem real. Had a session on a Friday night after a horrible week at work and within twenty minutes I was completely at peace. All the stress just melted away. Really lovely strain. I mainly use cannabis for managing my anxiety and GDP is one of the best I’ve found for it. The calming effect is genuine and long lasting without being so heavy that you feel completely useless. The buds smelled gorgeous â very sweet and fruity. Really lovely strain, I use cannabis mainly for my anxiety and this one is excellent for that. It sort of wraps around you like a warm blanket. I don’t smoke it, I use a dry herb vaporiser and the flavour profile on this is gorgeous â sweet berry on the inhale, earthy pine on the exhale. My only slight gripe is that one of the buds was a little airy but the rest were dense and well-trimmed. Would still give it four stars easily. Will probably reorder.

Absolutely stunning. I ordered a decent sized bit and I’m glad I did because this is going to get used up fast, it’s that good. The buds look like something out of a cannabis magazine â vivid purple and green, white trichomes all over, beautiful orange hairs. The smell is absolutely divine, sweet and fruity and dank all at once. The high is proper old school indica bliss. Body relaxation is off the charts, got rid of my knee pain completely for a few hours. Brilliant.

What an evening I had with this GDP. Ordered it midweek, got it by Thursday afternoon. Packaging was brilliant â smell proof and completely discreet, came through the letterbox without a hitch. Opened it up around half six in the evening and the smell just hit me like a wave. Rich, sweet, deeply fruity grape and blueberry with that earthy musk you expect from a proper indica. The buds were absolutely gorgeous â very dark purple, dense, loaded with trichomes that sparkled under my kitchen light. I rolled a proper joint, put some music on and just sat back. The high came on beautifully â first a warm gentle euphoria in my head, a kind of comfortable pleasant buzzy feeling, and then slowly over the next twenty minutes or so it descended into my body. My shoulders, my back, my legs â everything just let go. I have pretty persistent lower back pain from sitting at a desk all day and it just vanished. Completely gone. I sat there for hours feeling absolutely wonderful, music sounded amazing, everything felt calm and right. Fell asleep naturally around ten and slept right through to seven the next morning.
